My 3.5 year old daughter had been having wheezing problem for almost a year, out of which, she was on inhaled corticosteroids for 5 months. When I mention steroids I have to add that these immuno-suppressants had not only suppressed her immune system but also gave a rare side effect – severe peri-oral dermatitis.
